Midweek Magnolias #63

Good morning friends and followers!
This is the first of two posts today (busy day lol).
This is my project for this weeks challenge over at the Midweek Magnolias.

This week we want you to

Make it sparkle

Use a Magnolia product on your card along with something sparkling.
Don't forget to limit your entries to 5 challenges total to be in the draw for a surprise package from Magnolia in Sweden.

This is a card I made for one of my Distress ink classes. We had lots of fun coloring this sweet Tilda, playing with the di's!

God morgen!
Denne uken er utfordringen Make it sparkle!

The papers are by Papirdesign, and the butterflies and rolled roses are by Kort og Godt. The lace and doily are from a local craft store, and the roses are Wild Orchid crafts'. The postmark stamp is also by Kort og Godt. I distressed the edges with distress ink- Walnut stain.

I added stickler to the butterfly to make them sparkle:)

I colored the Sitting Tilda With Butterfly with distress ink pads and markers. I used tattered rose and vintage photo for the skin, aged mahogany and tattered rose for the cheeks. For the hair I used Antique linnen and Walnut stain, the dress is a mix oDusty Concord, weathered wood andVictorian velvet. For the the sweater and shadow I used Pumic Stone and some Black Sooth. The butterfly is Pumic Stone, dusty concord, Weathered wood and Black sooth

I used the beautiful papers to decorate the inside of the card too.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

DT Ett Trykk: Pop up card Tutorial

Hi peeps,
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I'm having fun with my latest purchase, a Shilouette Cameo! I just got it today, so I'm trying to navigate and getting to know my new toy...lol
I wanted to show you another one of my creations for the Ett Trykk Magazine. This is a pop up card I made with a tutorial for the april edition. Warning: Picture heavy!

I colored the lovely Lantern Marci by La la land Crafts with my copic markers.
The papers are by Pion Design from the For Mother collection. The sentiment is by Kreativ Hobby- The corner die is by La La Land Crafts, the roses are WOC. I used a Magnolia- Doohickey heart die and a Spellbinder.die and I used a Stempelglede Swirl stamp on the heart die and some Melissa Frances pearls. I was inspired by lots of pop up cards online making this tutorial, one of them on you tube HERE.

1. Du trenger skjærebrett, kartong, mønsterark, fargelagt stempeltrykk/ferdig motiv, teip, kopipapir, tekstempel, dobbeltsidig teip, pynt, score blad/bonefolder.

Kutt 1 stripe kopipapir i 1/2''x7''

10 Fest bunnen.

11. Fest den siste kartongbiten med motivet på.

12. Pynt slik du ønsker. Stemple med ønsket stempeltrykk i åpningen.

Her er kortet foldet sammen.

Sorry, the tutorial is in Norwegian only, but you'll find lots of english versions on you- tube and with a simple google search (or use google translate)
Wishing you a creative weekend! thanks for stopping by my blog!

I do spend a lot of time crafting these days, but nothing I can show you just yet, so I thought I would post a tea and napkin box I made for Ett Trykk Magazine (02/13) a while back.

The teapot charm is from my stash.
I distressed all the edges of the papers with walnut stain, Distress Ink.

I colored this very cute Joyful Tilda (A Christmas Story Collection 2012) with my Copic Markers. Colors used:  Skin: E13-11-00-0000, Hair: E44-43-42-41-40, N5-7, Clothes: BV25-23-20, W-5-3-1-00, Shadows: W5-3-1-00,

Copic Marker Norge #38

Good morning friends and followers!
Spring is finally here, and the month of May brings lots of extra days off work here in Norway. It also means spending a lot of time with family and friends, and less time for crafting, that's why it has been a bit quiet around here the last few days.

Today I'm sharing my second DT card for Copic Marker Norge. Our challenge this time is easy:
Anything goes!
The DT girls had lots of fun coloring the same image with different colors, stop by the CMN blog to have a look!

My color was brown, and of course I had to use my favorite markers these days: The E40's:

I used Maja Design papers from the vintage spring basic collection. The lovely lace is from the Live & Love craft store. The flowers are WOC and Kort og Godt. I also tried the famous frantage, I've seen it "all over" blogland for so long, I had to give it a go. So I ordered some from the LLC and here is my first...lol. The sentiment stamps are by Norsk Stempelblad AS.
I distressed the edges with distress ink, walnut stain, and used one of the cute musical notes paper clips by Prima.

I masked two Magnolia stamps: Pippi Longstocking and Edwin's Town.
Copic Markers used:
Hair, dress, stockings, shoes, house roofs and bricks: E 44-43-42-41-40, W7-5
Skin: E13-11-00-000-0000, R32-30,

DT Ett Trykk: After Eight Dispenser

Good morning friends and followers,

I wanted to show you a gift I made for the April edition of Ett Trykk Magazine. I found a wonderful tutorial on the talented Cibele Glazer's blog and she kindly gave me permission to use it in the magazine. The tutorial is for a tea-box but i wanted to make one to fill with chocholate to use as a hostess gift. I used the same measurements, and it worked out fine with After Eight Chocholates. The top goes off to make it easy to fill it up with whatever you like. Thanks for the tutorial, Cibele Glazer!

The beautiful papers are by Maja Design from the "Skal vi ta en fika"/
"shall we have coffee" collection.
I used a Quick Kutz/Lifestyle Crafts dies for the bottom and top,
and I added thick cardstock in between the two layers to strengthen it

I used MagnoliaDoohickey dies- Tilda Lace and Doily Flowers, a round Lifestyle Craft die, a Memorybox heart swirl die, WOC flowers and Magnolia pearls. The sentiment and the circle frame
stamps are by Norsk Stempelblad AS

I colored Tilda with wrapped heart with Copic Markers. Colors used: Skin: E13-11-00-000, Hair, shoes, heart: E47-44-42-41, Dress, socks, bow: V09, V17 and Blender, Ground: E33-31-20, Grass: YG95-91
