My top 10 for 2013- Happy New Year!

It's time to welcome a new year! 2013 has been an eventful year for me. With lots of amazing things going on, and some tough times too. But all in all it's been a wonderful year for me! I hope life will treat you kind this new year!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving me your sweet comments. They mean so much to me! Hope to see you around in 2014!

Crafting wise I have been looking back at what I made this year. I still love the Magnolias a lot, but I have been exploring different kinds of images too. I have been cutting down on my DT's this year, but I am still on the Ett Trykk, Copic Marker Norge, the Midweek Magnolias and Unik Hobby DT's (so I won't be bored anytime soon!) Thanks to all my wonderful DT-collegues- you are making crafting so much fun!

Here's my top 10 (in no particular order) :)

I made this card for the Mideweek Magnolias in January. I love this cute Tilda, and the colors on this card. I have been challenging myself with my copics this year and I had lots of fun doing it.

I made this calendar for my last challenge post as a LLC DT member. I love the vintage heaven that is Sandy's store!

I made this card for Anonyme Scrappere. I love this older Tilda. I made this card in quite a hurry, but it turned out to be one of my favorite cards this year. I do love pinks and vintage ... lol.

I was so proud to be asked to join the Copic Marker Norge design team. This is the first card I made for CMN. This Saturated Canary image is one of my favorites to color.

I made this card for my niece's confirmation. She means a lot to me, so I kind of put my heart into this card! I love this fold and the beautiful papers.

This card was a remake of one of my first magnolia cards I made in 2007. So much fun to see how I have change my style and coloring skills have improved ... and how much I still love pinks...lol.
I made this set for my sister when I learned she was having another baby. I wanted to surprise her with a little gift and card.

This is penholder I made for Ett Trykk Magazine when we made an article on recycling. I made this from old boxes and cardboard from around the house.

I think I chose this frame for my top ten because I love this picture of my 7-year old so much:)

I have been watching you-tube videos and exploring the no-lines technique of coloring (thank you Zoe!). I love the soft look it gives, and this is my new obsession...lol. Here is a gift bag I made for christmas using this coloring technique.

And finally- I had to have a wedding card on my top  ten this year- don't you think;)
I do love coloring with distress inks, and this fold is easy and fun to make. This one I made for the card making day blog hop over at the Ett Trykk blog.

Thanks again for stopping by my blog. I'd love it if you leave a comment saying what you think- which one do you like?

Time is like a flowing river, no water passes beneath your feet twice,
much like the river, moments never pass you by again,
so cherish every moment that life gives you
and have a wonderful New Year!

GDT Paper Nest Dolls

Good morning friends and followers,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I've been busy celebrating, so not much time for crafting the last few days. But yesterday I finally had some time to sit down with my markers and papers! Feels wonderful.

I am guest designing for the Paper Nest Dolls today. Here's a card I made using Mariannes double tag card tutorial. The super cute image is Princess Ellie with Frog, I just LOVED coloring her beautiful hair!

The papers are by Maja Design, from the Vintage Autumn basic collection. I used Spellbinder dies and Martha stewart punches. Roses are WOC and I added some liquid pearls around the image.

I had lots of fun coloring this awesome hair and dress, using the no lines technique.
Copics used:
Skin: E23-21-11-00-000, Hair:  E09-13-15-18-23-59,  Dress: BV25-23-20, V99, RV95-93-91. Frog: G99-94-82-21, Gold: YR14-24-20, Y17, E35. Shadows: W5-3-1-00

The card is folded from a big circle, and I made two tags for the pockets. The image is on one of the tags.
 Both tags and card.

Pop over to the Paper Nest Dolls to see more of these cute stamps.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Happy new year everyone!

Hope your new year is filled with good health and lots of wonderful opportunities!
Hope to see you around here to...lol:)

I made these cards for Ett Trykk Magazine earlier this year,  (I actually made these in july!) I thought I'd show them to you today:

The design papers are Maja Design, sentiment stamps by Norsk Stempelblad AS, Postmark stamps are Kort og Godt.
Flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts, Hearts by Prima, Pearls are Kort og Godt – Halvperler, the gorgeous lace is from the Live and Love Craft store.
Dies used are all Spellbinders.

I colored this Tilda with my Copics. Colors used:

The papers are by Maja Design, flowers and berries are Kort og Godt, The sentiments are Norsk Stempelblad AS  and the postmark stamp is by Kort go Godt.

Dies by Cheery Lynn Designs. I used my Silhouette Cameo for the shape of the card.

Here's a closeup of the image. I colored the Magnolia Snowy Tilda, with distress markers and pads. I used frontage, shabby white, around the image to get that snowy feel to it.

My final card today is a vintage one. I went all crazy with the frantage on this, lol.
Sentiment stamps by Norsk Stempelblad AS, desingpapers are
Pion Design.
The Frantage is by Stampendous Shabby White, The branches and berries are by Kort og Godt, the lace is from the  Live and Love craft store, and image by Pion Desing. The red berries are by Magnolia, I used lots of dies too:

Christmas gift holder

We continue our countdown for Christmas in our advent calendar over at the Ett Trykk blog. It was my turn to post today, and I used
Camillas birdhouse tutorial from the  February edition of Ett Trykk to make this gift box for a colleague of mine.

Here's the front.  I used a pointsettia die instead of a heart like the tutorial said. I also made the house a little bigger to fit some more candy:)

The lid opens on one side, and I filled it with chocolate candy.

Easy to make and a cute gift wrap.

Materials used:
Maja Design - Design paper
Spellbinder - Pointsettia dies
Magnolia - Lovely fence dies
La La Land Crafts - Heart banner die
Ranger - Distress ink (walnut stain)
Norsk Stempelblad AS - tekststempler
Unknown - currogated cardboard

Thanks for stopping by my blog tonight!
Have a great weekend!
